To whom it may concern,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Samgwaa Lesiga, and I serve as the LIFT Program Coordinator for Upward Bound at the University of Maryland.

I am reaching out to share an instructional opportunity that may be of interest to your graduate students and to ask whether you would be willing to circulate it within the Department of Mathematics.

We are currently seeking graduate students to serve as SAT Math Prep Instructors, supporting high school students with mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and SAT test preparation. This is a paid, part-time position and is particularly well suited for graduate students with a strong mathematics background and an interest in teaching, mentorship, or educational outreach.

If possible, we would greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing this opportunity with your graduate students or posting it through your department’s usual job or opportunity channels.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like additional information.

Best,
Samgwaa Lesiga
