Hi Leonid,

Note below is a reminder that this week is the last week for applying to the Inmas program. Students and faculty who could not attend our previous information session still can attend a virtual informational meeting as described. We would be grateful if you could forward the information below to your department.

Thanks,

Martin and Fadil

Interested in participating in a paid industrial research internship next summer?

This week is the last week when PhD students in the mathematical sciences can apply to the Inmas program.  If you missed the information session held on your campus, or attended and have further questions about the program, you can still attend a virtual information session Tuesday evening Sep. 27 from 8pm to 9pm by registering here. This information session is to give an overview of the Inmas program to students and faculty, and recruit for the upcoming 2022-2023 cohort.

The Inmas program was established with the goals of providing high-quality training and internship experiences that broaden career opportunities for PhD students in the Mathematical Sciences. Each Fall, Inmas selects students from its network of university partners in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.  Selected students participate in training programs preparing them for summer internships.  The training consists of two parts: (i) technical – including programming, statistics, machine learning, and project work; and (ii) professional – including resumé preparation, job networking, interview preparation.  Upon completion of the training, students are provided paid internships arranged with Inmas at regional companies at a salary of $1000/week for 8 to 12 weeks. No prior industry experience is required.

Application deadline: Friday September 30.
