FYI:
The Fertig lab at the Institute for Genome Sciences, University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore is looking for an AMSC graduate student to conduct research in computational biology with applications to cancer. The project will focus on modeling gene and cell regulatory networks with a combination of mathematical and agent-based modeling approaches. These models will aim to predict how the fundamental cellular and molecular structures of diseases change in time, which can be translated to predict how cancers develop and respond to therapy.
