I write with two unique summer teaching opportunities that could be ideal for the right Maryland students.
Role 1: Ideal for a graduate student. The
teacher in this role will mentor students (rising high-school Seniors)
in research projects on topics from the history of physics and/or mathematics. These projects will take place in
Cornell's math library and in
the Science & Technology collection in
Cornell's
Special
Collections. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and can
teach
across a wide range of math/physics topics. The person in this role
would have significant control over curriculum and would also have lots
of free time to continue pursuing their own work, in addition to
teaching duties.
Please pass these along to your students. Let me know if you have any questions!
