Dear Doron, Radu, Leonid, and :Liszhen,

I am forwarding this just in case you did not also receive it; perhaps it could be shared with appropriate PhD students and postdocs.

Best,

Tom

Dear Dr. Haines,

I hope this email finds you well. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNC Charlotte, North Carolina invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions in mathematics, one in pure mathematics with a focus in analysis, dynamical systems, or related areas, another one in applied mathematics with a focus in scientific computing, numerical analysis, or related areas to begin in August 2025. The ads for our search are posted on the UNC Charlotte employment website (position # 006537 and # 007597).

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is a doctoral, research-intensive urban university, located on an expanding modern campus. As the 15th largest U.S. city, Charlotte is consistently ranked as one of the best cities to live (#5 by the U.S. News & World Report).

Review of applications will begin on November 1 and continue until the position is filled.

Please encourage qualified graduate students and postdocs to apply. Also, please forward the opportunity to your faculty who may know others that may be interested in this position. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I will be happy to assist you with more information.
