Hi Jessica,

Hope all is well with you!

I would like to share with you that we have a T32 postdoc training opportunity.
For this position, the trainee will work with UMB and UMCP biostatisticians to develop machine learning/AI and statistical methods for large sample genetics, longitudinal imaging, and other test/demographic data to understand the onset of mental disorders. I will be the primary mentor (previous trainees' info at https://www.medschool.umaryland.edu/profiles/chen-shuo/).
This training position is only available to permanent residents (green card holders) and US citizens.

Would you please share with AMSC Phd. Students who are graduating this summer and are still looking for jobs?

Thank you very much,
Shuo

Dear Dr. Weitz and Dr. Chen,

As a part of our recruitment process, Howard and I are asking that faculty talk to newly admitted students, either on the phone or on zoom, to encourage them to join AMSC and answer questions they may have. We match students with faculty they've requested, but we appreciate your participation even if they aren't the best fit for your research group. When you have a moment, could you call or email the below prospective students sometime prior to mid-March? The names are linked to their applications, in case that's helpful. They've already received their admissions offer.

Thank you very much in advance for your help, and please let me know if you have any questions,
Jessica
