Good afternoon all,
This is just a friendly reminder about the call for proposals for an emergency special issue of Including Disability. Please share with your networks, and we hope you will also contribute to this issue, too.
Call for Papers - Including Disability Emergency Special Issue: Disability and Political Action After the 2024 Election
To say we are happy to announce a call for papers for this particular special issue would be a lie. However, it is our sincere belief that elevating the voices of the disabled community at this time in global politics is incredibly necessary as our community is frequently overlooked and the first to feel the collapse of social support systems and the rule of law. The results of the 2024 general election in the United States have set the stage for a likely attack on civil rights not seen in a generation. This election also has far-reaching impacts around the globe when it comes to armed conflict, addressing climate change, and addressing ongoing human rights violations.
The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2025.
