Hope you are well!
The next SCISEM Life Science Research Seminar will be taking place this Friday with Ms. Stephanie Sammut presenting a talk titled, 'Advancing microRNA Target Site Identification via Bias-Corrected Chimeric Datasets for Machine Learning Approaches'. For your convenience, I have attached the abstract of the talk below.
The Seminar will be held on Friday 4th July 2025 between 3 to 5 pm in BM402 of the Biomedical Sciences Building. A SCISEM Life Science Research Seminar Google Calendar is available in which calendar invitations are present for all the seminars that will be taking place. Additionally, a Zoom link is also present within the calendar invites for anyone who cannot or does not wish to join the seminars in person.
Ms. Sammut will be conducting this seminar in preparation for her Master's thesis defence and therefore, we highly encourage people to attend to provide support and feedback on her work. Thank you all for your help! :)
