Bid Allocation at 2025 Club Indoor Nationals

The bid allocation at UKU Club Indoor Qualifiers is based on the relative sizes of the qualification events in each division. Before the first event, we snapshot the current entry at each event and allocate some of the bids in each division (see below). We hold back some bids to allocate once we have confirmed the final number of teams competing in each Qualifier.
Over the last few years, we set up the three club divisions of Indoor Nationals for 16 teams in Women's & Open, and 20 in Mixed. However, we have needed to offer bids to many teams finishing outside the qualification places and still haven't always filled the events.
Primarily for this reason, for 2024-25 we are trialing a reduction in the size of the Club Indoor Nationals in each division to 8, 8, and 12 in the Open, Women's, and Mixed divisions, respectively.
