Hi All,
Epsom Ultimate is a newish club which is focusing mainly on Junior players but which is by default now amassing quite a few adult players as well! We have a mix of fairly experienced players who happen to live locally and total beginner parents of the kids who are now playing with us. So quite a mix!
We have arranged a junior friendly on Saturday February 24th for the kids but we would love a game for the adults as well, as lots of them have never played a competitive game. We are looking at 1-4pm or something like that. We either need a mixed club who fancies travelling to Epsom for a game or just a rag tag collection of pick up players who fancy a run out! We will take whatever we can get. :)
We would need relaxed and understanding players to come along. Lots of the parents don't know the rules or what a stall count is but we are ok as a collective so should be an decent(ish) game and worth the trip I hope. Just expect the unexpected if you come and be patient if they run with the disc. ;)
In return we will provide you with a nice grass pitch and a bar for drinks afterwards. Any junior clubs that fancy a game are also welcome! Be great to make some connections for friendlies in the future so drop us a line even if this date doesn't work.
Finally if you or your kids fancy coming along to check us out then please do. We hope that you hear a lot more of the club in the coming years and we have a lot of exciting things happening such as a frisbee summer camp this year(!), a local inter school competition and regular coaching sessions in some of the local schools. We are trying really hard to tie the local schools into the club and hopefully you will see our name about a bit at the junior tournaments moving forward. Please come and say hello if you do!
