An extraordinary application period for the M.A. in Applied Ethics at the Complutense University of Madrid will be open from 1 to 4 September 2026.
The programme provides advanced training in normative and applied ethics, combining a strong philosophical foundation with the study of some of the most pressing ethical challenges of our time.
Key areas of study include:
- Ethical theory, deliberation, and decision-making.
- Bioethics, biotechnology, and research ethics.
- Artificial intelligence and the ethics of technology.
- Animal ethics.
- Environmental ethics and sustainability.
- Neuroethics.
- Law, public policy, and global justice.
- Business ethics and corporate social responsibility.
- Ethics of communication, education, and social intervention.
The programme is intended for graduates in philosophy and related disciplines, as well as professionals seeking advanced training in applied ethics. Courses are taught by internationally recognised scholars with expertise across the programme's different areas of specialisation.
The language of instruction is Spanish. However, depending on the course and the needs of enrolled students, reasonable linguistic accommodations may be possible.
