What is psychologism? This is the topic. But as preliminary answer: Deriving philosophical conclusions from psychological premises alone, or (in philosophy) positing philosophical mechanisms or occurrences which there is no a priori reason to believe exist (though psychologists may some time discover such mechanisms), and then drawing philosophical conclusions for them.
