The Students and New Professionals (SNP) Chapter of the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association (ASBPA) invites you to join our FREE virtual webinar on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications in coastal science and engineering, taking place August 1 from 1:00-2:30 pm (EST).

We're excited to feature a panel of guest speakers from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) and the University of Delaware (UD), including: 

• Dr. Brittany Bruder (ERDC): Coastal Research Engineer and expert in quantitative coastal imagery using drones and camera systems to monitor shoreline change
• Dr. Magdalena Asborno (ERDC): Civil Engineer specializing in shoaling forecasting models and dredging analysis, applying geospatial, statistical, and machine learning tools to support navigation and dredging needs
• Jacob Stasiewicz (UD): Researcher focusing on edge-computing solutions and embedded machine learning for real-time coastal and marine data collection, bridging robotics and coastal science
