Dear colleagues,

We invite you to submit abstracts to Session OS01 – Understanding Multiscale Sea-level Change Using Observations and Models: Global to Local at the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) Annual Meeting 2026, to be held in Fukuoka, Japan (2-7 Aug 2026).

The session focuses on advancing understanding of sea-level change across scales, using observations, models, and data-driven approaches. Contributions are welcome on the following topics (but are not limited to):

Session Focus Areas:

• Sea-level drivers and processes

• Attribution of sea-level change

• Sea-level projections

• Extreme sea-level events and compound coastal hazards

• Adaptation and actionable insights for coastal planning and resilience

• Ocean warming, ocean heat content, and links to the UN Ocean Decade Vision 2030

Deadline: 23 January 2026.
