COASTAL ENGINEER 1
KS Associates is seeking an entry-level Coastal Engineer to join our growing team. Recent graduates with a Bachelor Degree focused on Coastal or Ocean Engineering are encouraged to apply. The position will involve preparing plans, calculations, cost estimates, and field work including site inspections, surveys, and construction observations. Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Coastal or Ocean Engineering. A degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering may be considered if coupled with professional experience in coastal or maritime structural engineering.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Zero to 3 years of relevant professional experience including internship or co-op experience. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
COASTAL ENGINEER 2
KS Associates is seeking a Coastal Engineer with at least three years of relevant professional experience. The position will involve preparing plans, calculations, technical specifications, engineering reports, regulatory applications, and other technical documents, along with presenting technical content to clients, regulatory agencies, and the public. Qualifications:
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Ohio, or have the ability to obtain a P.E. in Ohio within six months of the starting date.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Coastal or Ocean Engineering. A degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering may be considered if coupled with professional experience in coastal or maritime structural engineering.
