June 1st is the deadline to submit abstracts for ASBPA National Coastal Conference

Dear Coastal List Community:

We have had a good response, but we are down to our last few days for abstract submittals!

The ASBPA, in partnership with the California Shore & Beach Preservation Association (CSBPA) Headwaters to Oceans (H2O) conference, invites abstract submissions by June 1st for the National Coastal Conference,“Coasts on the Leading Edge: Bridging Science, Policy and Community,” to be held October 7-10, 2025 in Long Beach, California.

Technical, policy-oriented, and coastal floodplain resource and flood risk management presentations or posters are invited for a broad range of coastal and estuarine ecology, science, engineering, economics, and policy. We will also have special sessions with our CSBPA H2O partners.

Presentations may be PowerPoint or Poster format. Abstracts shall include discussion on objective/motivation, methods/approach, results/findings, and conclusions/lessons learned.

Abstracts Due (up to 500 words, following the required format):
June 1st for PowerPoint Presentations
August 15th for Poster Presentations
