The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District seeks to hire a coastal hydraulic engineer (GS-12) in the District’s Concord, MA office. This position performs planning and engineering design work, which requires specialized knowledge of coastal engineering, water wave mechanics, littoral sediment transport processes, coastal structures and a generalized knowledge of civil engineering.
Projects and studies include beach erosion control and coastal storm risk management projects, harbor and navigation projects, ecosystem restoration projects, and coastal processes assessments.
