Are you passionate about structural maintenance, coastal engineering and artificial intelligence? We invite outstanding candidates to apply for an FPU – 2024 “Ayudas para la Formación del Profesorado Universitario” to pursue a PhD focused on developing an integrated Assessment and Management Coastal Model for maritime structures and protection strategies suitable for application in decision-making and planning in coastal regions in the context of socio economic development and global Climate Change 🌊 🏝️.
This exciting project will be conducted at the University of Seville (Spain), with a secondment at the University of Granada (Spain), under the expert supervision of Profs. Pilar Díaz-Carrasco and Enrique García Macías.
👨🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
* Degree Requirements: Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or Software Engineering.
* Advanced Education: Hold a master’s degree or equivalent.
* Language Skills: B2 proficiency in English.
⏰ Important Dates:
* Application Period: 10/12/2024 to opening date of FPU application (17/10/2025 provisional)
* Provisional Decision: 18th January 2024
👨🎓 Selection Criteria: Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic performance and language skills.
