Composite beaches and dynamic revetments network and seminar series

Dear Coastal List members,

 

The seminar series on composite beaches and dynamic revetments continues. The sixth seminar will take place next week, on April 8, at 3 PM GMT/5 PM CET/11 AM EST/8 AM PST/etc.

Our speakers will be Oliver Foss (University of Aberdeen), who will present "Morphosedimentary and hydrodynamic processes mixed sand-gravel slopes – small scale laboratory flume experiments", and Samuel Salemink-Harry (University of Wisconsin), with a talk entitled "Pickup of negatively buoyant particles in wave-swash interactions". Each presentation will last 15 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
