We are excited to announce the 22nd Physics of Estuaries and Coastal Seas Conference (PECS 2026).

It will be hosted in Portland, Maine from Sunday, August 9 to Friday, August 14, 2026, at the University of Southern Maine.

PECS is a biennial international conference that brings together coastal oceanographers and engineers to share advances in understanding the physical processes of estuaries and coastal seas. The emphasis is on field and laboratory measurements and theoretical and numerical analyses, with the aim of deepening our understanding of the underlying physical processes in a small, interactive setting.
