Dear all
We are pleased to inform you that the Coastal Hazards Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (COASTHazar) programme run at the University of Cantabria (Spain), IHE Delft (Netherlands) and the University of Algarve (Portugal) is open for applications for the 2026–2028
cohort.
The tuition fee for the full two-year programme is €16,605, which covers all participation costs, including coursework, administrative and handling fees, access to library and laboratory facilities, a free laptop, and all programme-related activities such as
introductory events at each university, field trips, and workshops. Please be aware that the insurance package (including health care) is not included and costs approximately €900 for the entire programme.
More details about the programme, the application process, and living costs in Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal can be found on our official website (
https://www.coasthazar.eu/).
We strongly encourage self-funded applicants to explore national and local scholarships, grants, and other funding opportunities that may help support their studies and reduce financial barriers.
We look forward to receiving your application. If you need further details please contact the coordinator of the programme (Alvaro Semedo:
a.se...@un-ihe.org)
Warm regards.
The COASTHazar coordinating team
