This is a friendly reminder that the registration deadline is approaching for the 5th edition of the Training School "Hands-on Course on Experimental and Numerical Modelling of Wave–Structure Interaction", to be held in Florence, Italy, from 14 to 18 September 2026.

Registration closes on 20 July 2026.

The course is jointly organized by the Laboratory of Maritime Engineering (LABIMA), University of Florence, and the DualSPHysics development team. It is intended for MSc students, PhD candidates, early-career researchers, and professionals working in coastal and offshore engineering.

The programme combines lectures and hands-on sessions covering:

• experimental modelling of wave–structure interaction;
• numerical modelling using DualSPHysics;
• applications to wave energy converters and coastal structures;
• practical exercises and case studies.
