Dear Colleagues:

The Washington State Department of Ecology is recruiting to fill the Senior Coastal Scientist and Unit Supervisor (Natural Resource Scientist 4) position with the Applied Coastal Research and Engineering (ACRE) Section of the Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program. This position can be based at either our Headquarters Office in Lacey, Washington or our Northwest Region Office in Shoreline, Washington.

Within the ACRE Section, this Senior Coastal Scientist and Unit Supervisor (Natural Resource Scientist 4) position serves as both an expert in coastal morphology, monitoring, and processes and as the Coastal Monitoring and Analysis Program (CMAP) Unit Supervisor, overseeing a team of scientists, geologists, and engineers conducting applied research across Washington’s marine shorelines.
