We're hiring an Ocean Modeler (Staff Scientist) at [C]Worthy.
We are seeking an experienced ocean modeler to lead the design of physical and biogeochemical model configurations, collaborate with commercial and academic partners, and help build an inclusive, global community of practice around open-source ocean modeling.
This role is perfect for someone who:
🔬 Has deep experience with regional ocean models (physical + biogeochemical)
💻 Knows their way around HPC and scientific programming
🌍 Wants to contribute to climate solutions that are transparent, auditable, and grounded in science
Bonus if you’ve managed teams, contributed to open-source projects, or enjoy translating science into software.
📍 Full-time, on-site in Boulder, CO
