PhD opportunity on wave interaction with seaweed farms at the University of Aberdeen

Dear Coastal listers,

 

We have a fully funded 3.5 year PhD position available in the School of Engineering at the University of Aberdeen on wave interaction with seaweed farms as part of the NERC funded SUPER Doctoral Training Programme (https://superdtp.st-andrews.ac.uk/). This is a very exciting PhD scholarship involving physical laboratory work and numerical modelling, with external supervisory input from colleagues at the Scottish Association for Marine Science, NatureScot and Marine Scotland Science. As part of the DTP there is additional time and funding included for research training and professional development and the candidate will also spend time at the external partners during various stages of the project.
