We are inviting applications for appointment as Tenure-Track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Global Change in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. Direct tenure may be offered to exceptionally outstanding Associate Professor candidates.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Earth Sciences or a related discipline, with a strong commitment to research and teaching. They should be able to demonstrate excellence in research in global change, with a focus on ocean and atmosphere research. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, regional climate modelling, physical oceanography/ocean modelling, atmospheric science, (recent) climate change, carbon cycle and carbon neutrality.
