Artelia (SOGREAH GULF) has an opening for a senior engineer to develop our growing capability in intake/outfall engineering design.

Sogreah Gulf is one of Artelia’s main offices outside France and covers activities in the GCC region and beyond, for the group.
Artelia (Sogreah Gulf) is currently looking to recruit a Senior Sea Intake and Outfall Engineer with significant experience in marine intake and outfall structural design, to work out of our Dubai office.
The successful candidate will:
- Assist with project delivery ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget liaising with clients and working closely with other engineering specialists;
- Undertake numerical modelling for design studies.
- Undertake hydraulic studies for pipelines and pumping stations, pipeline structural analysis/design and stability studies and offshore pipeline works;
- Undertake engineering design work, principally in the design of sea intake and outfall structures;
- Prepare reports, drawings, plans and specifications, BoQs;
- Ensure and follow quality control procedures maintaining Artelia’s excellent reputation;
- Be involved in the bidding, proposal preparation, and costing stage, and;
- Support business development activities.
The ideal candidate will be educated to at least BSc/BEng and preferably to Masters’ level in the field of Civil/Marine Engineering or equivalent. Experience in aspects of numerical modelling to support this discipline would be an advantage. Experience of CFD studies for seawater pumping stations using ANSYS (or equivalent) would be an added advantage.
S(he) will also be experienced in pre- and post-processing using the various packages, including MATLAB/Octave, and MS Office. High-quality reporting is also a necessity.
