University of Quebec at Rimouski is part of the Université du Québec network, the largest university network in Canada, with over 100,000 students.
Costal erosion and flooding are huge challenges in Quebec (the largest province of Canada). University of Quebec at Rimouski and the Transport Quebec (government of Quebec) joint forces to create a research center in coastal engineering dedicated to the design, construction, and maintenance of coastal infrastructure. This research group will work with Laboratory of Dynamics and Integrated Management of Coastal Zone (one of most leading research laboratory in Canada). We are looking for motivated PhD/postdoc candidates to join our dynamic team. The working language is English (Oral French is an asset). The candidates are expected to apply for scholarship from Government of Quebec.
• Doctoral research scholarships: $25,000 per year for 3 years
• Postdoctoral fellowships: $35,000 for one year, non-renewable.
Start date: April 2025 or September 2025
