PECS 2026: Abstract submission deadline extended

Based on resounding feedback from the community, we are extending the abstract deadline for the 22nd Physics of Estuaries and Coastal Seas Conference (PECS 2026).  The new deadline for abstracts is January 30, 2026.

As a reminder..

• The conference will be hosted in Portland, Maine, USA from Sunday, August 9 to Friday, August 14, 2026, at the University of Southern Maine. 

• Abstracts can be submitted using templates and instructions provided on the conference website: https://mcec.umaine.edu/pecs2026 

• Additional information on lodging and travel is also provided on the website.
