Science Coordinator for the CRiSe (Coastal change from Rising Seas) research program
The Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a full-time position to serve as a Science Coordinator for the CRiSe (Coastal change from Rising Seas) research program. CRiSe is a UT research and education effort with a mission to understand and quantify the processes that control sea level rise and associated coastal risks to the Texas Gulf Coast, and to communicate these risks to stakeholders for more effective decision making. True to this mission, CRiSe brings together researchers, funders, and stakeholders from across The University of Texas, within the State of Texas and beyond.
The position requires an advanced degree (PhD or MSc) with a strong background in a field related to sea-level change including geosciences, engineering, ecology, oceanography, urban planning, and policy.
