The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Disaster Risk, Resilience and Recovery (CIGIDEN R+), based in Chile, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Position within our Hazards (H) research line.

Our Center operates as a "natural laboratory," leveraging Chile’s unique exposure to extreme events to develop globally relevant, sustainable solutions for disaster risk reduction. One of the core focus of this call is the implementation of coupled climatic-oceanographic-hydrological models to assess compound hazard drivers at urban coastal inlets.
