Call for Papers – Special Issue on Remote Sensing & Numerical Modelling in Aquatic Environments

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to contribute to the Special Issue on "Application of Remote Sensing and Numerical Modelling in River, Estuarine and Coastal Environments" in Remote Sensing (ISSN 2072-4292, IF 4.2). 

This Special Issue focuses on innovative applications of remote sensing and modelling for analysing river, estuarine, and coastal dynamics, including flood risk, coastal erosion, climate-related hazards, decision-support systems, and sensor-based flow and wave monitoring.

Submission deadline: 10 June 2026 
Authors are welcome to share a tentative title or short abstract in advance with the Editorial Office (remote...@mdpi.com ).
