Hello Coastal List members,

The Students and New Professionals (SNP) Chapter of the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association (ASBPA) invites you to attend the 2025 SNP Virtual Coastal Career Fair on Wednesday, November 12, from 11 - 1:30 pm EST. Join us in this FREE event to explore internship opportunities and entry level positions in the coastal field. Open to students and new professionals (within 10 years of graduating), the Coastal Career fair will feature highly sought after organizations including (as of 10/29/2025):

• W.F Baird & Associates
• Taylor Engineering
• Coastal Science Engineering
• Dewberry
• Moffatt & Nichol
• Goodwin Mills Cadwood
• ACT Engineers, Inc.
• Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority

Career Fair Format:

• Each organization will present in concurrent breakout rooms at 30 minute intervals
• Presentations will include details of the organization's culture, coastal portfolio, and open and upcoming employment opportunities 
• The majority of the 30 minute time block will focus on an open discussion and Q/A

Expectations for participants:

• Dress code is business to business casual 
• Cameras should be on and microphones muted until the discussion portion of each presentation
• Prepare quality questions and do your research
• Have clear dates on availability for work opportunities (end of semester, graduation date, etc.)
• Upload your resume via the registration form (optional)
• Be kind, respectful, and courteous of people’s time!
