Hey there,

Just a friendly reminder that registrations for in-person attendance at this year’s Australasian Young Coastal Scientists & Engineers Conference close tomorrow 10th September. In-person attendance is available at our Melbourne central hub or one of our local hubs at Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Townsville and Christchurch.

While the conference aims to showcase the work of young and early-career scientists and engineers, registrations are open to everyone in the coastal science community, regardless of career stage. If you are in the mid or late career stage we encourage you to register and join the opportunity to hear about the amazing work being done by the next generation!

If you are an undergraduate student, postgraduate student, or recent graduate, we strongly encourage you to register even if you are not presenting. The conference is a fantastic chance to meet new people, network and learn about the latest work being done across the field. You can register via the link below:

Registration for online-only attendance will remain open until Wednesday 24th September.

We look forward to seeing you all there at the end of the month!

Thanks,
AusYCSEC Conference Organising Committee

You may notice our email address and website URL have changed slightly from previous years. AusYCSEC is now registered as a not-for-profit organisation, meaning we can continue to deliver the conference this year and in coming years as an independent entity focused on our core aim of connecting, fostering, and showcasing the next generation in the coastal science and engineering community. We’ll be updating our website with more information in the coming weeks.
