We are celebrating the anniversary of the XBeach model (15 years) and SFINCS model (7.5 years) and are thrilled to invite you to the Exploring Coastal Hazards Symposium in Delft, the Netherlands! We invite you to share new developments, model applications, and insights on coastal hazards. A unique opportunity to connect with users and developers of the XBeach and SFINCS models, as well as our associated Delft3D FM and Delft3D 4 Suites. Prior to the Symposium Exploring Coastal Hazards, we will host several courses.
The Symposium Exploring Coastal Hazards will be held at Deltares in Delft from Wednesday 13 November till Friday 15 November 2024, and is free of charge. If you would like to present your work, please send in your abstract before 20 June 2024. Please note that abstracts are not limited to application of the XBeach, SFINCS and Delft3D models alone, and that we highly welcome talks on any data-driven, process-based, or ML/AI numerical models that advance our understanding and prediction of coastal hazards.
You can find more information about the conference and subscription here: https://softwaredays.deltares.nl/program?session-registrationType=symposium&startDate=01-08-2024
