Dear Coastal List colleagues,
A postdoctoral research grant is available within the European Project TAILWIND - Sustainable station-keeping systems for floating wind (https://tailwind-project.eu/).
The researcher will work on a case study on the Portuguese coast, namely in the: i) definition of hydrodynamic actions; ii) selection of floater, mooring line and anchor system; iii) hydrodynamic modelling and experimental testing; iv) scour assessment; among others.
The work will be developed at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal.
The position will have a duration of 12 months, which may eventually be extended. The net monthly stipend is 1.851,00€.
The applicants shall be fluent in English. Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD in the topic.
The call is open from 23-06-2025 to 07-07-2025.
