Dear Coastal List
A quick reminder that we’re recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida to investigate the seismic signatures of wave–dune energy transfer and to couple new observations with process-based numerical models of dune evolution. The position involves leading multi-instrument field campaigns at the beach–dune transition (seismic arrays, GNSS/RTK, pressure/wave sensors, UAS), developing reproducible data pipelines and analyses, co-developing models of dune morphological change, mentoring students, and contributing to manuscripts and proposals. The postdoc will collaborate with UF colleagues including Katy Serafin and Peter Adams, with ties to the Center for Coastal Solutions.
Application review will begin at the end of February; the position will remain open until filled. More details HERE.
Please share with interested candidates. Many thanks.
Best
