Ph.D. Opportunity at the University of Florida. Fully funded Research Assistantship in Compound Flood Modeling with Multivariate Statistical Framework and Use of Natural Features for Flood Resilience. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced hydrologic/hydraulic/hydrodynamic modeler to join the Advanced Coastal Environmental Simulations Laboratory, while pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil or Coastal Engineering, at the University of Florida. Candidates should have a Batchelor or Master’s degree in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering with a strong background in modeling and data analysis. Familiarity with flood modeling using 2D/3D models such as CH3D/Delft3D, HEC-RAS, ICPR, SWMM, SWAN/XBEACH, and PRIMo, etc. preferred. Please send an application to Dr. Y.
