Dear colleagues,

Apologies if you receive this message more than once.

A Call for Papers has been announced for a Coastal Engineering Journal (CEJ) Virtual Special Issue (Article Collection):

“Wave–Structure Interaction in Coastal Areas Using Numerical Wave Tanks/Flumes.”

We invite submissions on numerical wave tanks/flumes for WSI (e.g., breaking, run-up, impact, overtopping/overflow, scour), including method comparisons, benchmarks, V&V/UQ, and reproducible workflows. Submissions based on both community/open-source solvers and in-house developed codes are equally welcome. Hybrid coupling of near-field 3D models and far-field 2D depth-integrated/dispersive models is also within scope.

LoI deadline: 30 April 2026
