Call for Contributions – ICRS 2026 Session on Integrating Drone, Satellite & Diver-Based Reef Monitoring

We are pleased to invite contributions to our session at ICRS 2026:
#7 | Eyes Above and Below: Merging Drone, Satellite, and Diver-Based Observations for Coral Reef Mapping
This session focuses on integrating satellite imagery, UAV-based products, and in-situ diver surveys to advance coral reef monitoring. We welcome studies that combine multi-scale datasets, develop innovative workflows, assess reef change or structural complexity, or evaluate the strengths and limitations of various monitoring techniques.
We strongly encourage submissions from understudied regions, as well as projects involving community-based monitoring or traditional ecological knowledge.
If your work involves remote sensing, field-based assessments, or integrated reef monitoring, we would be delighted to receive your abstract.
