HS2.3.2 – Modelling Techniques for Quality Monitoring of Surface and Subsurface Waters in Data-Scarce Environments

🔹 Abstract submission opens: 22 October 2025
🔹 Submission deadline: 15 January 2026 at 13:00 CET

In the field of surface and subsurface water quality modeling, one of the key challenges is the lack of long-term, reliable datasets and established benchmark scenarios. This session aims to bring together experts and early-career researchers to explore innovative, scientifically sound modeling approaches that address these limitations, especially, in data-scarce environments. 

We strongly encourage contributions from the Global South, where such challenges are often most pronounced.
