Dear Coastal list partners,

We are happy to announce that the International Network on Offshore Renewable Energy (INORE, more information here: About us - INORE) has opened its applications for its 2 symposia this year: the North American Symposium & the European Symposium.
Please could you share the following with any early career researchers in offshore renewable energy at your institutions?

Are you a graduate student, early-stage researcher or young professional in offshore renewable energy? Then you are invited to attend a 2025 INORE Symposium!

Join us in Boston, USA and/or Aalborg, Denmark for a week of research sharing, ideas exchange, workshops, and site visits in a dynamic and informal environment. Meet and collaborate with like-minded individuals from around the world specializing in offshore renewable energy. This year we will be holding two events:
  • The North American Symposium will take place in Boston from 9th - 13th June 2025
  • The European Symposium will take place in Aalborg, Denmark from 15th-20th September 2025

You do not have to reside or study in the region of the Symposium you would like to attend. Applicants are invited to apply to both events if they wish and will be given the option to select their first choice location in the application below.
Thanks to our sponsors, most symposium activities, food and lodging are free for attendees. However, travel expenses to reach the Symposium shall be covered by each participant. Further details on covered expenses will be shared with selected participants.

Application deadline: 4 April 2025
Notification of selected participants: 5 May 2025
