Deadline Extended - 2 Postdoctoral positions Delta-Hub project - SWOT and field data analysis

Dear coastal list members,

The deadline for our 2 Postdoctoral positions in the framework of Delta-Hub Horizon EU Project has been extended to March 15. Please spread the word.

🔹 Postdoc 1 – SWOT Satellite Data & Global Delta Analysis
Work with SWOT and NISAR satellite missions to develop new data products for delta environments worldwide. Apply statistical methods, machine learning, and geospatial analysis (Python, GIS) to large-scale datasets on water connectivity, flooding patterns, and sediment-water interactions.

🔹 Postdoc 2 – Field Data Analysis & Hydro-sedimentary Model Calibration
Process and analyse hydrodynamic and sediment sensor data from the Danube Delta. Develop calibration relationships for suspended sediment monitoring and contribute to numerical model development (e.g. Delft3D, MIKE21).
