A friendly reminder that the abstract submittal deadline is less than two weeks away (1 April 2026). Additional details can be found below and at the conference web site.

We invite you to submit abstracts for INTERCOH 2026 (https://www.intercoh2026.org). Abstract submission is open through 1 April 2026. Submitters will be notified of acceptance by 15 May 2026. Please submit your 300-500 word abstract through https://www.intercoh2026.org/abstracts-program.

INTERCOH 2026 welcomes abstracts on all science and engineering topics related to cohesive sediment dynamics in riverine, estuarine, coastal, and deep ocean settings. These include, but are not limited to

• Case studies (especially those related to the Mississippi River and coastal Louisiana )
• Erosion, deposition, and consolidation
• Flocculation and floc properties
• Wave-mud interactions
• Processes in mud sedimentology
• Biological effects and biogeomorphology
• Mixed mud-sand transport in tidal flats to the continental shelf
• Beneficial use of dredge sediment
• Mud transport in bottom boundary layers
