Call For Abstracts: Northeast Geological Society of America

Hi everyone, 

The deadline is fast approaching for the Northeast Geological Society of America Meeting in Hartford, CT March  22-24. This year's meeting includes a wide slate of sessions relevant to paleolimnology, surface processes, and climate and environmental change, which should make for an excellent meeting. The abstract submission deadline is Tuesday 13 Jan. 2026, 11:59 p.m. PST.

Nearshore and Estuarine Research: Dynamics and Future Resiliency in the Coastal Zone

Session advocates: Bryan A. Oakley, Mark Borrelli, Zoe J. Hughes, Brian C. Yellen, Tim Cook, Sintra Reves-Sohn, Tansir Zaman Asik, Phoenix Benjamin Susak, Ash Oh

This session focuses on drivers of change in coastal environments as well as planning for future resiliency in tidal marshes, mudflats, estuaries, and barrier systems, including human activity impacts, sea level rise, & changing sediment supply.
