At the AGU Ocean Sciences Meeting, I will be steering a short workshop on "Making The Most Out Of Your Postdoc" to share advice for new and prospective postdocs that we wish we had all received, and build connections between those at this career phase.

If you are currently doing a postdoc or have recently completed one, please take 20 minutes to answer some exploratory questions to help me share the best advice I can!

Feel free to share this link with others in coastal science, oceanography, or related environmental fields. THANK YOU !!!

Dear Coastal Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that two full publication (100%) fee waivers and two 50% waivers are available for high-quality contributions to the Special Issue, which we are currently editing, entitled:

“Coastal Resilience and Adaptation in a Changing Climate: Modeling, Monitoring, and Sustainable Infrastructure”

to be published in the journal Climate (MDPI) (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/climate).

This Special Issue aims to bring together innovative research addressing the challenges of climate change in coastal environments, with particular emphasis on advanced monitoring, modeling, analytical tools, digital twins, artificial intelligence (AI), and GIS-based analyses to enhance understanding, management, and adaptation to climate-driven risks affecting coastal and port infrastructure.

The submission deadline is 20 July 2026.

Researchers who are interested in submitting are kindly invited to send us a provisional title, a list of authors, and an abstract for consideration regarding the available waivers, no later than 30 March 2026. While waiver applications are encouraged within the above deadline, we also warmly invite submissions from all colleagues working in coastal, marine, and port research fields.

Please feel free to share this call with researchers who may be interested.

We look forward to receiving your contributions and to fostering a stimulating exchange of ideas within the coastal and port research community.

For expressions of interest, please contact:
