Hi Labor Center community

Today at 1pm, the City Heights Community Defense Committee has called an emergency press conference in defense of our Somali communities against the hatred directed at them by the federal government. (Flyer below)

On Tuesday 2pm, City Council votes on whether to approve and continue using the Flock license plate reader surveillance system. Flock scans and stores every single one of our license plates and stores them on the private cloud. They already violated City use policies by breaching San Diego's license plate data for two weeks, leading to 13,000 global searches (Times of SD). San Diego TRUST has a collection of information
