West Coast Build Week for researchers exploring startups

Dear Students, 

Wilbe is a platform and venture fund for scientists and engineers building companies from day one. After recent Build Weeks for researchers around Stanford and UCLA, we are opening Wilbe x West Coast US, running online from 7 to 14 August. I wanted to make sure scientists and engineers in your department have the opportunity to take part while this focused West Coast week is live.

Build Weeks are 7-day, online cohorts where scientists and engineers go from idea to investment readiness - with structure, sharp feedback, and direct access to the Wilbe team through office hours. Participants may be considered for a first-check investment and a place on the next in-person founder residency in San Francisco.

This West Coast week should be especially relevant for master's students, PhDs, postdocs, PIs, research staff, engineers and technical researchers exploring whether an idea, prototype, research direction or technical insight could become a company.

No fee. No equity required to participate. No strings - participants are not obliged to take investment from Wilbe. Wilbe may offer investment where there is strong mutual fit.
