Registration Now Open The UC San Diego Sanford Stem Cell Institute (SSCI) Symposium returns this Thursday, Oct. 15, and Friday, Oct. 16, with two days of scintillating sessions illuminating the latest breakthroughs in regenerative medicine. The event is hosted by SSCI Director Catriona Jamieson, MD, PhD, professor and chief of regenerative medicine at the university’s School of Medicine. Attend in person or online. Registration is now open for UC San Diego faculty, staff, students and trainees. It remains open to all individuals outside UC San Diego who wish to attend. We're also pleased to announce the addition of Irving Weissman, MD, of Stanford Medicine, to our lineup of esteemed speakers. Poster submissions are now open. Authors of selected abstracts will present their work at the symposium Oct. 15 via oral blitz talks or poster presentations. Prizes will be awarded to the top submissions. Entries are due by 5 p.m. PT on Friday, Aug. 21.
