Two opportunities for support for undergraduate research:

Reminder that the 2026 Koret Undergraduate Research Scholarship is accepting applications for students planning to do a research project under the guidance of a UCSC mentor – 

• Submit a project proposal to apply for a $2,000 Koret Research Scholarship award! Koret Scholarships are available to UCSC undergraduate students in every discipline who are looking for financial support to pursue a research question with a UCSC mentor in winter and/or spring 2026.

The Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence and Equity (ADFEE) supports the dissemination of student research and creative work.

• Are you working on a research or creative project you’d like to share at a conference, performance, or exhibition? The ADFEE provides funding to support the presentation and dissemination of student work in the Arts Division.

 Applications are reviewed each quarter with these deadlines:  

• Fall Quarter: live now | Deadline: November 14
• Winter Quarter: Opens first day of the quarter | Deadline: February 13
• Spring Quarter: Opens first day of the quarter | Deadline: May 1
